Preliminary information from the United States Geological Survey state that the 5.7 magnitude earthquake was 27 km southeast of Cantwell, which is 323 miles from Valdez, at 9:10:18 this morning at a depth of 77.7 km.
Missing Valdez Man Found
COVID Cases Surge in Valdez
Since the time of our last weekly summary on Mar. 26, the community of Valdez received notification of 26 new resident cases and five new non-resident cases of COVID-19. Additionally, one previously announced adult resident case was treated at Providence Valdez Medical Center on Thursday for worsening symptoms and transferred by medivac to an Anchorage hospital for further care.
After 13 Months, Saturday Market is Back
