A Patch of Blue-Haiku

A patch of blue rides
Over draperies of mist
Cold river warm air
7,

Riding the Rich Tuesday AM

7,

Through my windshield

Magical mist

Blankets the river

On the left

To the right

Sits the Moon

Fresh peach

Full to bursting

Perched between two peaks

A turn in the road

Leads the mist across my path

and tucks the moon

behind the mountain

Sentinel conifers

Clad in snow

Guard the verge
