NOTICE OF PROJECT INTENT
SHOUP BAY TRAIL A
Valdez Adventure Alliance plans to submit an application for a State of Alaska Department of Natural Resources Division of Parks and Outdoor Recreation, Recreational Trails Program grant, to rehabilitate within the first 2,152 feet of Shoup Bay Trail A. and to add directional signage on Egan Street. Specifically to: clear, level, resurface the 620 feet before the bridge; add directional signage at Egan Street; add skier legal notice signage at trailhead; replace the bridge; repair drainage trench at trailhead; landscape at trailhead; installation of benches. If the grant is approved, work would begin in Spring/Summer 2021.
