The summer tourism season has begun in the McCarthy-Kennecott community. The McCarthy Area Council welcomes visitors to our beautiful valley this summer but wants to remind everyone that the area has limited access to medical care and resources. Please visit responsibly and safely during the coronavirus pandemic.
The council asks that people observe CDC guidelines and state recommendations. Please stay home if you’re sick, observe social distancing, wear a facemask around others and wash your hands or use one of the many hand sanitizers stations located around town.
McCarthy and Kennecott thank you for helping keep their small and remote communities safe and healthy.
