Hello.
As the Public Health Nurse in Valdez, I want to welcome you to our community. My goal and agenda is the health and safety of our community. While you are here, you are part of our community. The COVID- 19 pandemic has complicated just about all aspects of our lives this year.
I have compiled a COVID-19 information packet which includes:

- 14 day temperature log and symptoms check that needs to be completed by all crew members on arrival to Valdez.
- Screening Questionnaire for initial screening of crew members
You may not have a need for all the information but I wanted it to be available if there was any need or question.
Public Health Nursing is the frontline agency in the COVID-19 response in Alaska, conducting initial interviews for new positives, contact investigations and monitoring of positives cases and contacts. Please know that I am available for any questions or concerns that you may have. My goal is for you to have a healthy, productive and successful season.
