A Message from FNBA

Dear valued customer,

First National’s number one priority is the health and safety of our customers, employees and the communities we serve. The bank has established a COVID-19 Emergency Response Team to monitor this quickly-evolving situation and meet the needs of our customers during this challenging time.

All details of any change in our banking services will be communicated to customers by all available means, which will include further emails to you, notices on our website at FNBAlaska.com, social media posts including the bank’s Facebook and Twitter accounts, signage at the branch, and of course our customer service representatives who may be reached at 907-777-4362 in Anchorage/Eagle River or 800-856-4362 in other communities.

If you are in need of loan assistance or information, please speak with your First National banker who will discuss and provide options on a case-by-case basis.

In the meantime, First National is taking the following precautions to help ensure we can continue to meet your banking needs.

Throughout the entire bank

  • Enhanced virex-level cleaning procedures have been implemented bank-wide for all facilities; this includes our branches, employee workspaces and ATMs. Appropriate cleaning supplies are available at all facilities.
  • We are conducting as much business as possible via secure email and telephone. To safeguard customers and employees, bank employees will contact you directly in lieu of an in-person meeting or visit to learn if your banking business may be satisfactorily accomplished remotely.
  • Social distancing – We are adhering to CDC recommendations to avoid person-to-person contact such as shaking hands, and we are encouraging customers to do the same. Large bank-sponsored events and bank-sponsored gatherings have been immediately postponed.

Branches throughout Alaska

  • We are redirecting branch lobby traffic – customers are strongly encouraged to conduct banking transactions via our drive-thru windows, ATMs and online and/or mobile banking services.

·        We encourage you to take advantage of First National’s secure online and mobile banking tools to make remote deposits, transfer funds, send or receive money, pay bills and more – all from the convenience of your computer or mobile device.

·        Starting next week, we expect to have procedures in place to reduce the number of in-lobby transactions. We will also make banking by appointment available for customers with complex transactions that cannot easily be handled at the drive-through window or ATM.

Customer Assistance – if you have questions or are in need of assistance, speak with a local expert at 907-777-4362 in Anchorage/Eagle River or 800-856-4362 in other communities. We’re here to help.

Please regularly visit FNBAlaska.com for facilities updates and other related matters. At FNBAlaska.com/BePrepared you will also find an online resource where you can find further information related to our branches, as well as actions you can take to help protect yourself, family and community.

On behalf of everyone at First National, we hope you and your loved ones remain safe and healthy.
