Valdez Museum hosted its opening reception last Friday for local artist Erica Shirk’s new exhibition “Planetary Alaska.” The works on display explored the state’s natural wonders like volcanoes and glaciers in a more abstract way. KCHU’s Shahmeer Azmat has this report.
