August 6th, Monday, 6pm-8pm, Storytelling Workshop at Prince William Sound College, this is a 5 part class series with a performance on October 19th. This is Free to participate and attend due to the support from Prince William Sound College and Valdez ArtsCouncil!
August 19th, Sunday, 7-9pm, is a Father-Daughter Duo, A Night of Music
Steve Eulberg is a primarily folk and bluegrass musician of many instruments, ranging from hammered and mountain dulcimers, piano, brass, steel guitar, and even the didgeridoo. Kaitlin Pabo Eulberg has recently moved to Valdez and plays the mountain dulcimer. This will be a night of sweet vocal harmonies, father-daughter storytelling in song, and good old folk music! Donations from this concert go to a recording of this duo’s first album. Join for a night of music on August 19th, 7-9pm at Epiphany Lutheran-Episcopal Church at 309 Pioneer Drive in Valdez, Alaska.
September 1st, Saturday, 7pm, An Evening of Music
These performers are in Alaska teaching at the Acoustic Guitar Camp in Wasilla. We are fortunate to have them come to Valdez to share their varied talents in an original show.
Peppino has traveled to over 30 countries selling out shows, his album was named one of the top three acoustic guitar albums of all time by Acoustic Guitar magazine.
The duo of James Hill playing folk, jazz and blues on the ukulele and Anne Janelle playing classical cello won Best Traditional Album in 2009.
