Avalanche danger is decreasing, but due to the huge storm, totals, large human-triggered avalanches are likely through the weekend. All Backcountry riders headed to Thompson Pass should be prepared for rescue with beacons, probes and shovels (and airbag packs if possible). Cautious terrain choice is essential.
