Two Valdez Softball Association teams – Crowley (VSA COED Team) and Northern Exposure (VSA MENS Team) – are heading to Fairbanks this weekend to play in the Midnight Sun One Pitch Tournament hosted by the Golden Heart Softball Association. The Valdez Softball Association will be hosting the annual July Magic COED Softball Tournament at the Valdez Gold Fields July 2nd-3rd.
Alaska Amateur Softball Association teams from around Alaska travel to Valdez to play in the tournament. Tournament winners receive a variety of prizes – Including three large trophies, MVP prizes, All-Star team prizes, and overall bragging rights. Tournament games run 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday and 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday. It’s absolutely free to come out to watch!
