The 2015 Colors of Cancer Fun Run, hosted by Relay For Life Valdez will be Saturday July 25th. There will be one mile, three mile and six mile runs. Registration begins at 10:00 a.m. in the Valdez High School parking lot. The one mile race starts at 10:30 and the three and six miles begin at 11:00. Registration fee is twenty dollars for adults . Kids twelve and under are free. There are a limited number of tee shirts available for $10.00-$12.00. You can register and buy your shirt at Colors of Cancer Fun Run – Registration or in person on the day of the event. You can also make an additional donation to The American Cancer Association on behalf of Relay for Life Valdez. Fifteen to twenty volunteers are needed to splash color, make some noise along the route between the hospital and the salmon turnaround and to help with registration.
