The Girl Scouts of Alaska have sent two camp counselors to sponsor a day camp for Valdez girls THIS Monday-Thursday. The day camp is open to ALL girls in Valdez. I guess due to the fire in the Valley they had to cancel the camps up there…so lucky for us! I know it’s short notice but if your child is interested in participating I think they’ve brought a lot of really fun activities.
Camp is 10-5PM Mon-Wed & 10-3PM Thurs @ Valdez Glacier Campground.
Please have your child bring a lunch, snacks and a water bottle to survive the day. Layered clothing and rain gear would be preferable as Valdez elements can be a challenge.
A donation is encouraged but not required, they are really just hoping for some great participation.

Please note this is a GSOA event so our local troop leaders will not be there unless some of them are available and want to go.
