KCHU Terminal Radio Inc will be holding an on-air, on-line Art Auction beginning Monday, June 15th, 2015. Items to be auctioned will be available for inspection in the KCHU studios at 128 Pioneer Drive in Valdez, on kchu.org and on KCHU :: Community Public Radio on FaceBook beginning on June 1st. There will also be an auction catalog available in several locations to be announced and for purchase. A pre-auction reception is planned for the evening of Saturday, June 13th.
Each item will be offered on the air for a two hour period during which bids will be accepted via phone, in person, email or on FaceBook. The bidding time assigned to each piece will be posted in advance so that those who are interested will know when to place their bids. No early or late bids will be accepted. Successful bids will be announced at the end the day’s bidding to allow time for electronically placed bids to be received and times checked. All unsold items will be offered again at that time.
