We often forget to celebrate those who provide us with leadership and inspiration along the way to hard-won successes. The Copper River Watershed Project wants to recognize those individuals who have gone above and beyond the call of duty in their contributions to the watershed. The Watershed Hero award was created in 2013 and celebrates award winners (one for upriver and one for down river) at each of two annual events: the Copper Basin Wild Food Feast on April 11, 2015 and the Cordova Wild Food Feast on April 25, 2015.
Is there someone you want to recognize for his or her leadership? Tell us about this person and nominate him or her for a Watershed Hero Award!
